Where are we
The Club will be very pleased to welcome new members.
With a variety of ages, interests and experiences we are all enthusiasts eager to exchange ideas, learn more about photography and how we can improve our skills. We are affiliated with the East Anglian Federation (EAF) of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) who also run informative events.
Our weekly programme includes talks and workshops on many different aspects of photography which support our schedule of internal competitions. These competitions are for projected digital images (PDIs) as well as both colour and monochrome prints. The club also participates in inter-club and national competitions with the best work from our members representing us.
So if you would like to get more from your photography why not come and join us?
We meet every Tuesday at 7.45 pm for an 8.00 pm start, until 10.00 pm at Christchurch Baptist Church, 20 Tewin Road, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1BW from September until May (check out the diary page for the exact dates). There is ample car parking on site.
An annual subscription is just £60 for admission to all the season’s meetings. Meetings are predominately in-person but there will be a number of meetings each season held online via Zoom.
Membership is half-price for 14-17-year-olds. The minimum age is 14 and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Refreshments are available for a nominal charge at each in-person meeting.
Country membership is available for those that live more than 25 miles from Welwyn Garden City. This allows access to all meetings held via Zoom each season. The current country membership is £15.
Check out our website Diary and Contact Us pages if you need to know more. The Diary page gives the latest information on the club’s meeting programme.
We look forward to seeing you at the club.
